Volunteer Musicians Wanted

Electric Umbrella is challenging the perception of people with learning disabilities by enriching and empowering lives through music.

We are building an army of professional and semi-professional musicians to play in our 'Electric Umbrella House Bands' whose job it is to make the members sound and look like the ABSOLUTE ROCKSTARS that they really are.

We believe in standing shoulder to shoulder with people to achieve a level of connection and joy that neither party would experience otherwise!

Are you comfortable being put on the spot, making it up as you go, responding to what's going on?

REPERTOIRE

A lot of what you will need to know is fairly standard function stuff... Sweet Child of Mine, Killers, Pop repertoire etc. But, Electric Umbrella have two music albums of original material that we use a lot in gigs. You aren't expected to learn it all, of course... but there are some standards that we use all of the time.
