The sunflower has become a recognised symbol of hidden disability, indicating that the person wearing it might need some additional support and understanding or maybe just a little more time.

It’s a symbol encouraging patience, kindness and respect.

We encourage all of our supporters and members to plant a sunflower in your school, home or town. TOGETHER we can promote greater understanding, challenge perceptions and build a world that embraces inclusion, diversity and difference, welcoming all the richness that brings.
