It's about yellow on a grey day, about increasing understanding, replacing ignorance and about facing life's daily fears and difficulties TOGETHER. 

To celebrate the release of TRY SMILING Warner Bros Studios have come together in creative collaboration to make the accompanying music video.

As part of Hertfordshire's Year of Culture our Little Yellow Pianos will be appearing across the county in High Street & community locations, each with their own special launch event. 

With the help of 1000s of school children we aim to challenge the notion of 'perfection' and 'normal' by embracing difference and diversity and celebrating the richness that comes from it.

Let's make TRY SMILING the anthem to lift heads and hearts and unite communities.

Electric Umbrella are encouraging a nation to pan the pout and take life a little less seriously with the release of their second single TRY SMILING.

TRY SMILING FAMILY SHOWS

Shows postponed until further notice!
2020 sees the launch of our Electric Umbrella family shows put together with content and a price point to keep the whole family happy!  

Aimed at a younger audience (under 10’s) these shows will be full on interactive fun, music, singing and dancing.  

With our Musical Bananas, The Beauty and the Beats Tea Trolly and the Trendy Typewriter - kids will be encouraged to be hands on, creating, experimenting with and making music together. 

The shows will be ‘relaxed’ and open to all. With full accessibility.

LITTLE YELLOW STREET PIANOS

Following the success at Watford High Street Station the Electric Umbrella Little Yellow Pianos are being rolled out in further locations to celebrate the release of TRY SMILING and HERTFORDSHIRE YEAR OF CULTURE 2020.  

Open to all, the LITTLE YELLOW PIANOS will bring a musical heartbeat onto town and village pavements providing an opportunity for everyone to pause, come together to play or listen.

Once this period of lockdown is over, our pianos will land with a special launch events around them aimed to scoop up and bring together a smiling community of schools, businesses and local folk.
