Following government guidelines we have suspended ALL face-face delivery; weekly sessions, Big Yellow Choir, Schools Tour, Day Services Tour, and all gigs, shows and festival performances until further notice.

In the meantime, we are running an extensive online programme for current members AND anyone that would like to join us. More details are available on the Electric Umbrella TV page.

CYBER SESSIONS

List of Services

    ELECTRIC UMBRELLA are finally ready to take on NEW MEMBERS!

    For a long while our weekly sessions have been fully subscribed and many of you have been on our waiting list for some time. We are now geared up to open a number of additional sessions per week (online only) and are looking for NEW MEMBERS to fill the spaces.

    These online sessions are 90 minutes long and the smaller, more intimate group settings allow us to tailor our music content to connect with individual needs enabling everyone in the Zoom room to fully interact. 

    Our Autumn Term will run from the week commencing 7th September for 14 weeks and will include a 1:1 'getting to know you' induction with our session leaders, and a welcome pack.


    NEW Session times are as follows:-


    Monday 4.30-6pm - YOUTH Cyber Session (for people living anywhere aged 11 - 17)

    Wednesday at 1.30-3pm - Cyber Session (for people living anywhere aged 18+)

    Thursday at 4.30-6pm - Cyber Session (for Hertfordshire residents aged 18+)

    WEEKLY SESSIONS - Spring Term 2021

    The future is still uncertain as to when we may be able to safely operate in person. For now, our CYBER SESSIONS for existing members will continue throughout the Spring Term (week beginning 4th January 2021).

    ELECTRIC UMBRELLA TV and ELECTRIC UMBRELLA SINGALONG

    These daily online sessions are in addition to the regular groups and everyone in welcome to join us. In fact, the more the merrier! That means that instead of being involved with Electric Umbrella just once or twice a week, you can join us us more often!

    NOISE STATEMENT
    As you're probably aware, Electric Umbrella often uses amplified music alongside our activities. While this really helps to make what we do fun and exciting, we understand that some may find the volume a little uncomfortable on occasions.

    We'd like to reassure you that we always conform to the relevant Health and Safety guidelines (http://www.hse.gov.uk/event-safety/noise.htm) and use a suitable sound level meter at both sessions and gigs to ensure that recommended levels are not exceeded. In addition to this, we provide ear defenders for any of our members who want them, and offer disposable ear plugs to anyone in the audience who would like them. We are also looking at ways to spread the sound more evenly (our current systems have to be quite loud at the front of the venue in order to be audible at the back).
